July 13th Praises....weve made it through the first 24 hours at home. Thank You Jesus (Carty has been saying it too after every first...). Firsts being---mommy giving shots (she even let me do them yesterday in the stomach(that is so PRAYER), she gets 2 per day); we did our exercises they prescribed AM/PM; she only took one pain med yesterday---Im letting her ask for them now or if I sense she could be in pain; she kept mobilizer on (I suggested us decorating it girlie, she said NO mommy its a BOY!--God Love Her!!!); bathing her was easier for me and I even took mobilizer off and she helped me put it on. Saturday/Sundays are busy days she is getting an extra med 2 times a day---so I feel like the walking pharmacy 😳 between giving one med 2xs, another 3xs before she eats, and one at bedtime, plus feeding her via gtube, getting her to eat a food of choice (boiled eggs and strawberries 🍓has been her request lately. She lonely eats the egg whites🍳 good thing lots of protein). She amazes me how independent she is and wants to be. She will ask for help but only after trying it first herself. She has been a little moody. I think its the meds, but then again if your world had been rocked like hers I guess if be a little moody too! My sweet mom has been here a lot this weekend to watch what I do and see the routine. She is not gung-ho about giving shots and I understand. Hopefully Ill be able to give it in the mornings once she is up and head on to work. Work, I want to Thank My wonderful work family...Trisha L, Sarah Horton, Emily Layton, Brian Fitzgerald, and others pulling in to help when Im out---many blessings pour out your way. You are the best!! Overall, we had a good weekend. Mary-Frances and I are planning to go to church this morning. She wants to go .... Not that I dont but I love it when she initiates. 🙏❤️👼 Pray for my mom while we are away. Im feeling confident Carty will keep her mobilizer. No request today other than my for my Mom in my absence ....but there is PRAISE---because we have definitely being walking out Phil 4:13 this weekend and it is so evident. Blessings ---jenn
