July 15th, 21 years ago! Phone rings early in morning. I answered phone. Doug said, Julie (daughter) is having pains close together. We have to go to hospital (in Mobile). A few minutes later the phone rings again. I answered phone. Mark (son) said, Keli is having pains close together. We have to go to hospital (in Pensacola). I said oh but Doug just called and Julie is too. Julie was 2 weeks early and Kelit was 2 weeks late. I rode with Julie & Doug to Mobile. Ed followed a few minutes behind us. At the Atmore Country Club, going down the hill, there was a slow car ahead of us. I said pass him Doug. He did, on a double yellow line. Policeman was waiting. He stopped us. Doug explained situation and he let him go. Tyler Jackson, the cutiest little redhead grandson was born at 7:21 a.m. and few minutes later Mark called and Brianna Belen was born at 7:23 a.m. (I think I have those times right.) After getting Julie & Tyler settled we were off to Pensacola to see our first granddaughter. She was beautiful!! With curly black hair! I call them my twin grandchildren, born 2 minutes a part to different parents! Now they are 21 years today. Even though Tyler is at the University of South Alabama and Brianna is at University of Montevallo they are STILL my cutiest little grandson and beautiful little granddaughter!! Happy Birthday!!
