July 2, 2013 Time Shift Alert: Starfire Tor ~ "A large Earth facing coronal hole has opened on the Sun and is spewing solar wind directly at Earth. The full force of the solar wind is expected to reach Earth sometime between July 6-7, 2013. This solar wind hit has the potential of triggering a geomagnetic storm, which in turn has the potential of triggering Time Shift and time line edit activity. This July 1, 2013 SDO photo of the Sun shows this coronal hole, which is in the upper portion of the Sun. The reason why, it takes so long for a solar wind to make it from the Sun to the Earth, is because it takes anywhere from 4 to 6 days for a solar wind to travel the 93 million miles to get here. A coronal mass ejection [CME] takes about 3 days to make the journey because, unlike a solar wind release, a CME is forcefully ejected out into space. Also, some CME release x-rays and protons and other energy that has an effect on Earth in minutes ... days ahead of the CME impact on Earth. There are even times when a solar wind and a CME interact on their journey to Earth, with each having an effect on the other.
