July 23 Ecuador update...The whole team is doing well. They are spending time with their community and also are revamping the bathrooms at the school as well as digging 2 tilapia ponds. Tomorrow they will line the holes they dug with plastic. Dinner tonight was pintos, rice and carne asada (grilled beef) with an onion based curtido. Bible study has been from 3p – 5p. Bart will check in with the Otongo (Raj, Stacey, Candy & Matthew) group tomorrow. Word from Naranjos (James, Samantha, Hannah, Jon, & Lainie) is that all is well. Mason is doing so well with leading music. He and Andrew are forming close bonds with young people. Mike is running around fixing anything that is broken. Seth is incredibly well and adapting great. He is making friends. Jessica and Kathy are well. Ed and Annie are both doing well and working hard. Mary opted to dig holes over painting bathrooms. Ariel is doing exceptionally well. Garry and Sharlotte are sharing Henrry’s house with 3 of the young girls.
