July 25 - Apples of Gold Some have turned the biblical model of God upside down. Experience is sought over the revealed will of God. The scriptural model is to seek God, and then you will have experiences. Instead, a group of people has arisen who rush from one alleged “hot spot” to another and differ little from the inhabitants of Mars Hill who “spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing” (Acts 17:21–22).
