July is party month in our house! My son, Christopher, who turned 45 on July 7th, told his sister, Jennifer, who just turned 40 today Welcome to the Old Timers Club!. I guess that makes me a member of the BEYOND OLD Old Timers Club! :) Here are a few photos of their celebrations. . . Chris here in Medford, with two of his best friends from childhood in Cranford, Joe Esmerado (in the middle) and Glenn Haerle (on the right), and Jennifer and family in Cape May over the weekend. The photo of the photo shows her at her 4th birthday with her favorite cake of all time, a Cinderella cake. So, naturally, how did we celebrate her 40th??? With a Cinderella theme at the Mad Batter!! Always a good sport, she put on her tiara and held her Cinderella balloons and walked through the Promenade with lots of turned heads wondering just what she was the queen of. :) Two great celebrations for two amazing kids! Chris left yesterday for his move to a national director position with his company out near Los Angeles (Vinnie and I shared a quick meal and good luck and goodbye with him at the airport yesterday) and Jennifer and gang are already busy back in Virginia. Miss them all but have lots of happy memories and, always, always know just how lucky I am! My glass is not just half FULL. It runneth over. :)
