Jummah means Friday and Mubarak means blessed.Totally it means ‘Jummah Mubarak’ that is blessed friday.So it isn’t any Bidah.Many times we wish each other to have a great/blessed day ,a very similar one.So,will you say it’s a bidah?… In the name of Allah, the inspirer of truth. Andthis was their day (Friday) the celebration of which was made compulsory for them but they differed about it. Sahih bukhari,Volume 2, Book 13, Number 51: Narrated Abu Huraira R.A: The Prophet (Sallallahu alyhi wa sallam) said, “When it is a Friday, theangels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice).The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba.” *.Note angels stand at gate on fridayprayer and write names of the persons specially for friday prayer not on other days. this proves fridayis most blessed day and wishing to blessed day friday is haq as it does not harm or change any sunnah of religion. There is no angel nearAllah’s presence, nor sky, nor earth, nor winds, nor mountains, nor sea which do not fear Friday.”
