It is a community gathering space which features: 1. Experimental Gardens: aquaponics, raised beds, vertical gardens, & container gardens utilizing materials that are upcycled & repurposed. 2. A platform for workshops & information sharing highlighting sustainability/permaculture, yoga/breath/movement, film screenings. 3. There is a mindfulness in all we do & say anchored by ceremony and a reverence for earth wisdom. This activated space acts as a power point, protector, and purveyor of our projects. 4. We have auxiliary garden sites within the HLP ComeUnity with their own project developments. 5. Eventual plans include vacant lot remediation & teaching gardens to connect folks back to the land.
