READ THIS My fellow Israeli soldiers and members of the Hamas, PLO, Knesset politicians, I am just an insignificant child in your eyes and should not have a voice in your political affairs except my votes if I ever lived in your respective countries because I never had the proper education to understand your complicated procedures. I do not care what you think; I am simply writing this to have my voice heard and say whatever I need to say before I fade into obscurity. Is it worth it ? Honestly is it worth it to put millions of every man, woman and childs lives in your nations at risk just to avenge the deaths of three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped under unknown circumstances and punishing the innocent Palestinians who either didnt care, went about their affairs as usual or tried to help if they could ? I mourn the deaths of those Israeli teenagers as much as any other Jews but if this is a price for destruction of one last peace attempt between the Jews and Arabs, possibly entire peace for the middle east, then clearly my tears have been wasted. Why should I pray for their safe return alive had they been kidnapped but their fates unknown knowing that their safe return or even in this case, their deaths will cause senseless war crimes, tragedies, broken hearts, sorrow on both sides ? Do not dare to call me insensitive or someone who is not human for these comments when you realize what I have said is true. You always accused Palestinians of being ungrateful, terrorists and perhaps the ones who is stubborn enough to reject any sort of peace you have drawn up for them. But if you were in their situation, would you want to make peace with people who constantly take away your children for being suspected terrorists and torture them ? Harass them, shoot your people indiscriminately and forbid them from travel ? restrict their rights constantly despite what is written within the constitution ? Your terms you present before the Palestinians are never favorable. Tell me, are you different from the Nazis who oppressed. persecuted and killed 6 million people during the holocaust ? Have you forgotten Tikkun Olam ? Responsibility given to us by God himself to make our world a better place through our talents, education and expertise, charity, kind deeds. Remember this verse from our holiest scriptures: Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt. Reflect your own past by looking at the Palestinians and please.... realize that you yourselves have become what you have feared and hated. The victims often become the oppressors unwittingly. To the Hamas, I understand why you have lead armed uprising against the Israelis and despite your terrorism, violent ways, your cause is just. You just want your lands back but you wont get what you want by inflicting harm towards innocent Israeli Civilians or Palestinians who does not support you. You do not realize the sufferings you have caused not just to your enemies and Israelis but also your own Palestinians as well. Some of them fear you.....feeding to the western media you are terrorists even though you are armed resistance fighter who wants your country back. Launching rockets towards Israels major cities will not resolve anything. Rather it will give the Israeli soldiers an excuse to eradicate, drive you into deeper underground where your cause will become meaningless. What the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians is absolutely unacceptable. However it does not give you the right to return the favor. You are supposed to be better than the Israelis. Koran you hold sacred forbids this type of armed actions against civilians even in war. Neither the Israelis nor the Palestinians realize what they are doing is destroying everything they hold dear.... please for your familys sake, lay down your arms and work together as a united nation to bring forth peace your citizens can only dream of. I never said it would be easy..promises have to be made between both sides, sacrifices have to be made, reluctantly co-exist, respect your individual holy sites in Jerusalem, uphold the constitution or add certain laws beneficial to both nations, enforce strict security law to prevent the violence from erupting. God be with you all.... may God bring peace between the sons of Isaac and Ishmael.
