Jun22: CommunityWise Swap Shop! 6pm at CommunityWise, 223-12 Ave SW. Are there things around your home that you don’t need anymore, things that someone else could use? Wouldn’t it be great if you could swap it for something you would like? Even if you don’t have anything to get rid of, the CommunityWise SWAP SHOP event could be the place to get that special something you need. On June 22nd, from 6-9pm, The CommunityWise Resource Centre will be having a really really free market. Whether it is a book, some clothes, a chair, kids stuff, household items, cat figurines, or that can of creamed corn you’ve been noticing lately in the back of your cupboard, maybe it’s been there for a year… who knows? Bring them down and find yourself something else you can use. All items in working/usable condition please. Items requiring a truck to be moved will not be accepted (please, no large appliances!). Also, if you have a couple dollars to help cover the cost of the room rental and to support programming activities at CommunityWise, that would be great. Coffee and tea will be provided. This is a one day event. Items left over will be donated.
