June 12, 2014 Ed Asner Dear Roger, As fellow supporters of AE911Truth, you and I both know that getting a new investigation into the events of 9/11 and revealing the truth about that day is a monumental, improbable feat. And yet, we devote ourselves to this cause because we have hope, and because we have chosen to be on the right side of history in one of the defining issues of our time. Opportunities like the High-Rise Safety Initiative are what give us reason to continue hoping. With enough support, and enough signatures, we can give the people of New York City the chance to learn about, debate and vote on whether their local government should conduct a new investigation into the destruction of WTC 7. Naturally, the City will attempt to block us every step of the way and the press will smear us as wild-eyed conspiracy nuts, but these are battles we must fight if we continue to have hope. Right now the campaign needs to raise $7,500 more by this Sunday to reach their signature gathering goals.
