June 12, 2014 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Top Two USCS Sprint car Drivers to appear at McDonald’s/Lavonia (GA) 10:30am until 1:30pm Friday Atlanta, GA – June 12, 2014 - Attention Race Fans, The top 2 United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters sprint car drivers entered for the Lavonia Speedway Night of Thunder racing event at Lavonia Speedway this Friday night will be making an appearance at the Lavonia McDonald’s restaurant on Friday, June 13th from 10:30 am until 1:30pm. Ten-time United Sprint Car Series National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee will have his familiar #10 winged Outlaw style sprint car on display outside of the McDonald’s Lavonia. Gray has 83 career USCS main event wins and is the current 2014 National points leader. Additionally on display will be the #10m sprint car of USCS 2010 Rookie of the Year, Morgan Turpen from Cordova, Tennessee. SHE (Turpen) is the top ranked female winged Outlaw sprint car driver in America. Morgan Turpen finished in the runner-up position in USCS National point standings in 2010 and 2011 and in fourth place in the 2012 standings and currently ranks in second place behind her team-mate Terry Gray in the USCS National point standings. She has one win during the current season and a USCS career total of five. Both drivers will be on hand for the display and available for questions and autographs. Both of these drivers and a strong contingent of USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint car drivers will compete for their share of nearly $20,000 in prize money during the Friday’s racing action at Lavonia Speedway during the Father’s day weekend special event that also includes the rockauto USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints , Fastrak Pro Late Models, Hobby, Modified Street, stock Four and Rookie Four Cylinder divisions on the action packed racing card.
