June 28, 2013 To All Our Friends and Customers of DC’s Saloon since 1991. It is with great sorrow that Charley and Dan announce the following.: As with many things, the time has come-------- In a rather rapid development, a company contacted us a little over a week ago about buying the building at 610 S. 14th Street and DC’s Saloon. After a short negotiation, we came to an agreement to sell. We actually had to wait for 10 days for the sale to become official, which was yesterday. Which of course, delayed our announcement. It has been a great 22 years, and we have had many great times , loyal customers and staff over these years. Some are now, sadly, gone but we will remember them always. As many of you know, Charley’s and my own health have limited us from being involved with the business for some time and it has probably suffered because of it, but it’s something that happens. Our final day of business will be Sunday, July 7th, 2013. We hope you will join us in celebrating at DC’s Friday and Saturday nights as the great history of DC’s, and meet many of your friends you may not have seen for a while, and/or remember the ones who cannot celebrate with us .
