June 29, 2013. 4:02 am. Reflections I called for you! Repeatedly. Called until I had nothing more to give and called some more. But you did not come. You did not come. You left me. Never to return? Alone. Alone without the nourishment of human contact. Alone. Devoid of the emotion of another, essential for the dynamic balance that comes from two unique spirits synthesizing as one. The yin and the yang. The attraction of opposites creating dynamic balance. A tension so incredibly vital that it is like the air in our lungs with each breath we take. The blood in our hearts with each life-sustaining beat. The emotions that fill our brains and course through every physical fiber of our being with each feeling that comes uniquely from the human experience. The human experience. The warmth of a well intended touch. The beauty of words, some spoken, others not, imparted through selfless expression. The security of a heartfelt hug. The act that combines them all. Human contact. Face to face flow of life giving love. Love so true, it cannot be denied. Even for those who try. Freedom. The escape from the self-imposed shackles, emplaced to assuage fear. Not to protect. Not to foster prosperous growth and development. Fear. The root of anger. The root of failed relationships. The cause for rejection of amazing friendships. The price paid to nurture the boundaries of comfort zones and pad the nest with only the tried and true safety thus far acquired. No exploration. No stepping into amazingness. No willingness to ask why and why not. No gain. No growth. No learning. No journey. No living life the way it can be lived. Only the safety of being shackled within the walls of a comfort zone, protected by the guardians of the culture. BLOW IT UP!!!! TEAR. DOWN.THOSE.WALLS!!!! TEAR THEM DOWN AND CREATE THE PERSON "YOU" HAVE ALWAYS WANTED "YOU" TO BE. RIGHT HERE! RIGHT NOW! No time. No space. No distance. HERE! NOW!! What is getting in the way of YOU taking control of YOUR life?! LIVE Life!!
