He exposed to the world with hard evidence of mass cremations by the Police, He was also picked up from his home, tortured and killed by police. Thousands were killed, without conviction of any crime; they were simply picked up from their homes and shot in the fields of Punjab. The intellectuals and Human rights activist were also targeted. A Big Reason why many Sikh intellectuals after 1984 Left the country and sought asylum in foreign nations.
