June needs a foster! Sweet 3-legged June was hit by a car and was rescued when she was literally dying in the street. Unfortunately her front leg was so mangled it had to be amputated. She has a plate in her back leg. She can use her back leg as a crutch and can get around fine but she should never have a lot of exercise. Her weight will also have to be watched throughout her life as she needs to be kept thin and she is limited in the number of walks she can take throughout the day. She absolutely LOVES other dogs and she would benefit from being in a home with another dog. Although she is shy with people she really blossoms when she is around other dogs. She is 9 months old and weighs 20 lbs. She likes watching TV and having people hang out at a distance. She is easy on the leash, housebroken, and seems to come alive being outdoors .
