Junior Sister / ODP / Charge Nurse Location: Surrey Salary: Band 6 Description: Our client, based in Epsom,Surrey, provides specialist orthopaedic services, working alongside partnership Trusts. The EOC provides high quality clinical care in new and innovative ways, learning from the world’s best and bringing it to patients in the NHS. We are looking for individuals who thrive on a challenge to work in theatres at the EOC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading orthopaedic surgeons, from across South West London. EOC operate on approximately 5,000 patients a year, this includes hip and knee replacements, open shoulder surgery, shoulder replacements, foot and ankle and spinal surgery. This makes it one of the largest joint replacement units inEurope. Person Specification: The candidate will provide high quality care and work towards developing and working within a cohesive multidisciplinary team. The expectations within this job description will be met through Leadership, hands on clinical practice, education and training, and research. The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop skills towards attaining an Senior Sister/Charge Nurse post in the future if they so wish. The successful candidate must be a registered general nurse, with a valid NMC Pin, they must have operating theatre experience with an interest in orthopaedics.
