Junior Skill Clinics The Carina Leagues Triathlon Club is extending an invitation to as many eight to 14 year olds as possible to come along and learn and have some fun at one of their Junior Triathlon Skills Clinics during the forthcoming September, December or January school holiday periods. The venue for the clinics will be at the club’s very well-equipped base at the Clem Jones Centre, Zahel Street, Carina. Aaron Schadel, the club’s Assistant Coach, said: “There are three one day clinics and they are being held on Friday 26th September 2014, Friday 19th December 2014, and, Friday 23rd January 2015. “Each session runs from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. “The clinics teach basic swimming, biking and running skills. There is a focus on what to do after the swim leg of a race and then the bike leg of a race,” Aaron said.
