Just Musing......... It has always been like this from one part of the southern hemisphere to the other, from across Congo DR to Ecuador, from Burkina Faso to Vietnam, Iraq to Bolivia, the story is the same. They use slavery. They use colonialism. They use imperialism. They use Economic Hit-Men. They use their secret agents. They use the so-called Multilateral institutions, IMF, World Bank etc. They use democracy. They use their military. They use our military. They use loans. They use neighboring countries. They use AID. They use our greed. They use our fears. They use our weaknesses. They use our strengths. They use anything and everything. Our poverty is their prosperity. In as much as these things are real, they are also excuses, real excuses. But it will not always be like this. We are gonna wake up. We will wise up. We will tell ourselves the truth. We will hold ourselves accountable. We will take responsibility. We will know our real enemies - ourselves and them. We will stop ourselves, and only then can we stop them.
