Just a day away! WALKING ON MARS - Book 1: Destination Vostok will be released by Permuted Press on January 6th. In 1994 I spent three weeks with the 22nd Airlift Squadron, stationed in Christchurch, NZ and flew three missions with them down to the ice at McMurdo Base in Antarctica. Producer James Cameron was with us as well. The journey was an amazing adventure! I traveled there as a guest of the Air Force to do research for a painting I created for the United States National Archives. This painting hangs in The Pentagon and has been loaned in the past to the National Geographic Society and The Smithsonian for special exhibits. Id traveled to several places with the Air Force in the past, different locations in the US and around the world, doing research for paintings, however, this trip left such an indelible mark that I created this entire series of books. The first novel is the spearhead and will introduce you to the ice covered continent and a bevy of fun characters who will reappear in follow up stories. The main star of all of the books is Samantha Sam Bloodworth, a reporter for the Digital Science Times. Her voice will take you through all of the adventures. After the release of this novel, throughout 2015, every two weeks, there will be a new short story made available - 26 in all. In 2016 I will be releasing two more full novels from Sam.
