Just a few days after submitting my honours thesis for grading, I now have the opportunity to apply its basic theoretical framework to a different case study for a (much, much) shorter term paper. In other words, for the first time ever Im going to be able to cite myself! What a cool, cool feeling. Having done it first hand, I can now say with certainty that developing, refining and synthesizing theory is painstakingly hard work. But once youve done it, applying that theory to the world around you turns out to be a cake walk! Im on a roll and feel really good about how well (and how quickly!) this next paper is coming together. Thank god my thesis is done, and thanks from the bottom of my heart to every single person who helped me get through it! At long last, the end of my undergrad is coming into view :) #thesisjoys
