Just a few days left in the campaign to support Musical Tales for Modern Minds -- the series of musical storybooks that introduce musical concepts to young children through globally-inspired stories and songs authored by my daughter Julia Jordan Kamanda. The series will be published and distributed by Hal Leonard Corporation, with the first two books in the series to be released In April of 2015. The materials will include a supplementary curriculum guide for music and general classroom teachers. You can support this effort through Julias Indiegogo campaign and receive autographed copies of the books, advanced downloads of the original music, music mentoring sessions from Julia, and much more. As you know, arts programs are being cut from schools all over, but with this project we can actually bring music back into classrooms and into the hearts and minds of children everywhere.
