Just a few minutes before 9:00 last evening Bro. Thurman Lester departed for a destination for which he had made a reservation many years ago. He didnt need to purchase a ticket because Jesus had paid his full fare. He didnt need to declare any baggage for we brought nothing into this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out. He was met at the Arrival Hall by a great number of family members and friends who had departed before him and were waiting to welcome him to a place that Jesus has been preparing for him since the moment he had accepted the offer of Gods grace and was saved. On earth hours have passed now since his departure but in Heaven he has been there only moments for one day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day. He is no longer engaged in the battle against cancer but has been healed and is alive this morning for the first time in years without pain, sorrow or suffering. See you soon dear brother.... (Pray for Ruby as she has remained behind and without doubt needs the prayers of her church family and friends for the days ahead. Gods grace is certainly sufficient for every day but the love and encouragement of those who care for us is one of the most precious gifts of belonging to the family of God.)
