Just a few quick thoughts: I love days like today. Yes, it’s still cold and snowy, but on days like today I can open the blinds on my south-facing windows and heat the place for free! Inside, it will reach into the 70’s all day, and the furnace will not come on. Gotta love it! Sun heat is so Cool! (say what?) American Idol – I stopped watching it because of the over-hyped drama and lack of singing, and singing talent. I decided to watch this year with the addition of Harry Connick Jr. as a judge, and I am glad that I did. There are quite a few this year that I would actually contemplate buying their album. Last night was excellent, but I still feel that the one to beat is Caleb Johnson. He sang “Skyfall”, a song that I didn’t particularly care for when Adele sang it, and I loved it. Best comment of the night – Caleb looks like the love child of Jack Black and Meatloaf! The first time I saw him I thought “Meatloaf”, but the Jack Black part I can see, too!
