Just a few times in our lives God gives us something really cool. Something that you keep until God calls it home, Today my friends , God has called probably one of the best gifts (2nd only to My Sons & My Mother) he has given me home. My step-father , Robert J. Reeds has gone to be by our heavenly fathers side. This day I have been dreading for quite some time. My heart is broken for my mother who has to wait awhile to stand next to her husband of 25 years , and even more importantly. Her BEST FRIEND has been called away from her. Bob, by far the best man Ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. I just cant help being a little angry about having to give him back. Pretty much rite up until the end he was speaking of things he needed to get accomplished for the communities around Kansas City. What a selfless man , always trying to do for others before he ever did for himself. I can honestly say that Bob , in the 25 years did nothing special for himself. I will say he was very special for my mother , and the communities. I have quoted one of his favorite verses of scripture more than once today , and Im gonna keep doing it. Maybe because it makes me feel like he is still with us. Robert J. Reeds , YOU ARE THE MAN !!!! You Go And Renew Your Strength , And Mount Up On Your Wings Like An Eagles. Bob , You are loved more than you will ever know. You are already missed and its only been a few hours. Please , and I know you will because I know you well. throw a little sign moms way so that she knows your fine. Someday I will stop crying when I think of you , but that wont be anytime soon. Go and finish your journey. Ill see you when I get there. MUCH LOVE.
