Just a friendly FYI that the Lake Monticello Board Game Club meets again this Saturday Evening at the Clubhouse - (Lake Terrace Room)! Our group has really taken off over the last few months. We started out with maybe ten to twelve gamers, max? Today, we’re averaging well over double that as word gets out! We welcome any and all game enthusiasts, game lovers and game amateurs alike. Maybe the last board game you played was “Monopoly” with your parents a decade or more ago? Maybe you’re a closet “Chess” addict? Or maybe you’re a “Golem Arcana” enthusiast and now have all of the games digitally enhanced miniatures, corresponding App, and a Bluetooth 4 LE (Low Energy) mobile device for use with the game!?!?!?!!! Whew… Regardless, this group welcomes you! The L.M.B.G.C. has a small but growing Facebook Page (Linked here). Inside, you will find information on game nights, videos, pictures of our events, game reviews, news on our current efforts to raise money for The Childrens Miracle Network at UVA Hospital, links to our Radio Interview with Wendy Anne Edwards and Eric Seitz (Thanks guys!), news about our upcoming article in the Fluvanna Review and much, much more! We’re also working with a new Lake Monticello Group Parents of Monticello and can’t wait to organize some fun with them as well! We’re Local, Casual, and Free!
