public enlightenment !!! NIGERIA without doctrine of internal security. generally security has to do with freedom from danger, or with threat to nations ability to protect and develop itself, promote its cherished values and legitimate interest and enhance the well-being of its people. thus internal security could be seen as the freedom from or the absence of those tendencies which undermine internal cohesion and the corporate existence of the nation and its ability to maintain its vital institutions for the promotion of its core values and socio-political and economic objectives, as well as meet the legitimate aspiration of the people. Internal security also implies freedom from danger to life and property and the presence of a conducive atmosphere for the people to pursue their legitimate interests within the society. but the situation in nigeria was a deferent story, why becouse we have injustice and insecurity conundrum characterized by child abuse, ritual murder and extra-judicial killing, cultism, hostage taking, ethnic and religious riots. so our leaders must to be very careful in what they do since they are the pioneerd of our emerging democracy?
