Just a line to let you know, I am so glad that my operation is over, now I have the healing process to deal with! I borrowed a walker and it came in handy when I got out of the car to come in the house. It is right next to my chair. I have a bed to sleep on downstairs now and a potty chair near by, so I will not have to walk far when I need to get up during the night. I have not looked at the incisions yet because there is a big bandage on them. That part of the hip hurts a bit, but the doctor gave me some pain medication. (Thank Goodness) The nurses at the hospital were very nice to me during the whole time I was there. I saw the doctor for a moment, but I was out when he was doing his thing on my hip. I had a IV put in my hand before I went to the operating room, and when I woke up it was on the other hand. They did not like the way it was working on the other one. I do not remember falling asleep, but when I woke up I was in a dream of baking cookies for all the nurses!! They got a laugh out of that one. They told me to bring some to them when I bake them!! he-he!! Take care and God Bless you all, P.S. Old age here I come!! bummer!!
