Just a little update on our Delaney Hope... Lots of medical details and jargon but the big picture is that she is stable. Our feisty girl has had the docs puzzled with an extra fast heart rate over 200 that finally seems to be calming down (target is 150-170s if possible)... They are quick to remind us that her repair was extensive and her little heart just needs time to settle into a more normal rhythm. The surgeon seems pleased, given what her heart has been through, and they keep checking on her with EKGs every few hours. She remains on the breathing tube and is still very puffy with fluids, so these are our two goals today to ensure that shes progressing - hoping to come off of the breathing tube later this evening after some of the fluid drains. Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. Shes a fighter, and I believe God knew what he was doing when he picked her for this battle. We will keep you updated! :)
