Just a little update our friends and family. Thursday afternoon my membranes ruptured causing me to leak amniotic fluid and start contracting. Fortunately my fluid levels are still pretty good around baby. At this point they have given me steroids and 24hrs of magnesium for babies Nuero protection and lungs. There is a small chance I may stop leaking fluid, but right now main focus is keeping baby inside and infection free, and myself infection free and labor free. Because I also have some very dangerous issues with my placenta, its very important I dont labor. I will be staying in the hospital at best 6wks. At 32 weeks I will have my c-section/hyst. There is ALOT of complications that can happens between now and then, the odds are against us I have been told. But I know Im not standing alone fighting this battle. We know God is right here with us. This has been an extremely hard time for our family, I cant explain how it feels to be away from my kids and family, but I know its only temporary and its a sacrifice to keep Baby Lola alive and healthy. We appreciate all the phone calls, texts, and prayers from our family and friends. We are overwhelmed with the amount of people who have stepped up and offered to help Gerson and I with the kids. We want this to be as easy and stress free for the kids as possible. Please continue to keep us in thoughts and prayers, even through delivery and recovery. We know its a long road ahead, but we are not in this alone.
