Just a piece of mind: If, god forbid, a close friend or family member of mine came to pass away due to some sort of accident, or illness, or attack, or even of natural causes--Id feel it a great disrespect to their memory to post something on Instagram or Facebook or whatever in their remembrance. God knows posts of that nature generate more response than, say, a picture with friends at a party--as they arguably should--but, knowing how the culture has shaped most of our mindsets to feel more or less achieved in congruence with how many likes we generate on social media, I cant conceive the shame that I would feel if, even subconsciously, I were to feel some sense of accomplishment as a direct result of something as tragic as someones death. These are just thoughts. Intended as neither a direct response to anything, nor an accusation towards anyone who has done this. Just thoughts. Personally directed thoughts.
