Just a quick update, I ended up in the hospital last Tues thru Sun because my white cell count dropped. Normal is about 1000 mine dropped to .6, so needless to say I had no immune system at all. They pumped me full of antibiotics and fluids trying to get my numbers back up. This happened because of this regimen of chemo Im on, its still newer so they are still working out the flaws. My Dr said he is going to reduce the amount of Carbo (a part of my regimen) to hopefully prevent this from happening again. On Sat they gave me a shot to boost my white blood cells which helped but made my body ache like hell! So Easter morning I was able to get up out of that place! So for now Im back to my normal limited routine and we shall see what the next round of chemo on May 5th will bring, but on May 3rd I will be completing my 2nd mini marathon come hell or high water with my bff Casey Davis by my side every step to the finish. Thank you all for the texts, visits and prayers and extra thank you to Lisa for taking such good care of me.
