Just a quick update ... I went to see the neurologist this week, and he referred me to another neurosurgeon up in Denver. Im feeling positive about this... I see the new doctor the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, and hope to be able to schedule my surgery then. Theres a possibility that this neurosurgeon will be able to do this with the gamma knife which is non-invasive, done with pinpoint radiation. That sounds a lot better than standard surgery. Im getting my house sorted out in the meanwhile, and setting up a guest room for my sister, Pat Madsen who will be staying with me for a few weeks... she will be able to help me get through the surgery and early recovery. (Sisters are the best!)
