Just a reminder as we Get closer to September 1st, when the Taiji, Japan drive hunts start back up... Let us all keep one thing in perspective and Remember.. that we cant generalise a whole population,or Country for the inhumane things some do to Cetaceans and animals in general. this type of thing happens everywhere, its a global issue and one that we need to fight world wide. and I can completely understand the anger and frustration everyone feels on this matter, but, We also have to remember that its not all of Japan and China that act on these atrocities. as in the case with Japan, there is only a small percentage of people involved in these drive hunts and the whaling.. its the Big powerful business men first and foremost, followed by the Japanese Government, WAZA, IMATA, and such.. the fishermens Union, the people who back the drive hunts and slaughters and the small percentage of people in Japan who actually eat whale and dolphin, and it has been stated in the media and in the news that a lot of Japanese dont even eat dolphin and whale meat, it is only a small percentage of people who do and they, are the ones who are helping to drive and maintain this atrocity.it is mostly done out of Profit and greed for money! believe it or not, there are a few animal activists groups that are helping Us, Sea Shepherd, Ric O Barry and many other Oceanic Organizations to help put an end to the drive hunts, not to mention all of the people who live in Japan and Tokyo who are protesting and finally standing up to their people and Government. same is true of China.. there are animal rights groups there trying to put a stop to the dog and cat meat trade.. so, basically what I am trying to say is.. Not all of the people of Japan or China are bad and doing things like this.. there are a lot trying to help us to get it stopped, so you cant lump the entire nation of a country in together, just because there are some who are doing this. and believe me.. WE have our hands full fighting the drive hunts and Whaling, as we are fighting the big guns with money, like the Japanese Government, Japanese Prime Minister, IMATA, WAZA, Fishermens union. and so on.. its going to take time, but, we have and are making lots of headway to putting an end to all of this. Sea Shepherd, and Ric OBarry will never give up and Neither will we! We are in this for the long haul, as long as it takes. Just a side note... these drive hunts, and whaling are no different than what the People of the Faroe islands are doing.. and they are even more barbaric in their actions on how they slaughter the Pilot whales.. cutting and ripping pilot whale fetuses from the mothers stomach. I am not justifying either country or action, as they are ALL as equally horrific and disgusting in their actions,but, you have to admit, at least we do not see the killers at the Cove in Taiji, cutting and ripping dolphin fetuses out of a mother dolphin, right there in front of the villagers, children, familys and on the live stream. as you well know, thats what happens at the Faroe islands Grind. and they do not hide it.. its there for all to see, including kids and small children. at least we are spared that, from the Live stream at the Cove. so, now with all that being said.. We need to keep the focus and attend to the matters at hand, and get ready for our up and coming fight to defend the dolphins and Pilot whales in Taiji, Japan. its going to be a long, grueling and emotional 6 months.. but, we are in this for the long haul, as long as it takes. 1000% of the way. nothing happens overnight, but, we have made lots of headway, stepped on some toes along the way last season, and got the media attention that these dolphins deserve. lets not stop now! these dolphins and Pilot whales are depending on each one of us, to stand tall, Stand up and shout and be their voices! REMEMBER... WE ARE AN ARMY, OF COVE GUARDIANS and We will NEVER give up.. NEVER give in.. NEVER back down... and Most importantly NEVER be Silent! WE CAN DO IT!!
