Just a thought, using a sophisticated formula to calculate number of ancestors, I could have about 56,000 in 1100. Since I`m a quarter Pembrokeshire, through my grandfather, I could have about 16,000 ancestors in Pembrokeshire in 1100. In 1364, Haverfordwest had 360 Burgages, giving a population of about 1800 so I could have eight times as many ancestors in Haverfordwest than its population, where am I going wrong?.
