Just after (high school) graduation, some friends and I went to one of their summer cabins near Lexington. Dale, you may remember this story. We were up all night keeping the fire going (drinking...). At some point, around 4 am or so, everyone went in and passed out. I decided that I was going to stay up and watch the sunrise over Lake Huron. So I stayed out on the beach by myself. Naturally, I fell asleep just before sunrise and woke up only when the sun was fully up and shining in my face. Bleary eyed and maybe a little hungover, I stood up, stretched a little and started walking towards the lake. Huh, wouldnt you know it, the flames were gone now and all that was left of the fire was a sand colored bed of coals and ashes. So...if you watch this video, right at 1:00-1:20 or so, that, is what it looked like when I stepped right into that bed of coals..... Getcha summa DIS!
