Just alil information from my travels to Athens GA this weekend. Everyone that I ran into around the park are baseball folks, great people who love baseball. Foley field is small compared to what we are used to. Some of the good things, Parking is free and available all around the stadium. Outside the right field fence they have bleachers set up and it is free. Center field also has a picnic area that is also free (which I used sunday) it was part of the tennis center (great facility). Ticket attendants leave after the 4th inning, you can come and go without a ticket. Downtown Athens was a joy, wore Gamecock colors all weekend long, and had more people approach us and talk baseball then I would have thought. This is one trip I would recommend to any baseball fans looking to travel to an away game.
