Just an interesting slant: 2 John 7 ... "Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh have gone out into the world. Any such person IS THE DECEIVER and THE ANTICHRIST." ... Kind of says that this is a way of belief instead of a particular person?! I suppose this could also be saying that as we look at "the deceiver as satan" that it is a way of thinking that makes one "THE DECEIVER" and the same way of thinking that makes one "THE ANTICHRIST". "As a man thinks in his heart so is he." Makes me think that our way of thinking has much to do with evil and that evil and antichrist live in the minds of men and women?! It also states in I John 2: 18, "Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrist have come. This is how we know it is the last hour." So our jobs are not to be troubled by "WHO" the antichrist is or say "THE DEVIL IS AFTER ME", we should be learning to control our thoughts. We hold the personality of evil and antichrist within our minds. Just interesting to me. Never saw it this way before and read these scriptures many times before. Agree or disagree, food for thought!
