Just another response (long rant) to my Liberal friend Billys, comments. Let us know what you think, if your read it... LOL: Just look below at my previous post to see the whole conversations. Billy, Oh My God (Opps, sorry, said the G word).... Dude, you make me laugh out loud really hard! I never get worked up, I love this stuff. Makes me think... Keeps me on point.... But you continuously make my point for me. You dont read the rant, then respond to it... That makes sense, I think???? I would love for you to respond to the rant, thats called debate. I am very clear where I stand on issues! You bring up stuff from the past. And just throw people that dont think like you in to the Repub or teabagger box. Its spelled Republican and Tea Party, or Libertarian, Conservative, Chriistian, covers most. Not Democrat, liberal, socialist, communist, or leftist!!!! But whats in a name???? I do agree with you on unions, we have all benefited from the strides that unions have made for the working class. But guess what, no capitalism, no unions. No technological advances, no unions. You dont get one without the other. Unions do overreach sometimes and cause businesses to go bankrupt, or do you just see one side??? Their used to be Steel Mills on the South Side, remember them? How did that work for those Union employees???? You need both!!!! They keep each other in check and thats great. The way the govenment was originally designed to keep our elected officials in check! How many companies, union or not would still be around if the spent money the way US Government does? NONE, Ok maybe the Banks or Car Industry!!!! (LOL, now thats funny stuff!) Both Parties, it is a two party system, andit is broken. Most people, dont agree with everything from just one party!!! Like you do. And if you believe it was Only the republican party that got us here, then you are ingnorant and closed minded my friend! I believe it was a group effort, both parties are guilty!!!! So you know where I stand!!!! Where do you stand? What do you stand for? When you vote, if you vote? I can guarantee that you walk in and just pull the Democratic Lever, correct? Reguardless of their qualifications on issues that are important to you and your family!!!! YES or NO???? In American History, I learned at Arlington Elementary School. That the 3 tiered government system was designed to keep one branch of the government, from having to much control or power. To protect The People (US) from an over reaching, TYRANNICAL Govenrment! Hows that workin for you??? So why defend something when its broken. You want One man, Obama to control your families destiny???? REALLY???? Just write Executive Orders and No Checks and Balances or Oversights???? Just total control and trust... I think they tried that in Nazi Germany and how did that work out???? Not sure what the military comment is about. But I joined the United States Army to get out of Pittsburgh, to serve my country, protect the US Constitution and the country I believe in and see things around the world, I would not other wise get to see! Doesnt make me any better than anyone else, just makes me a Proud US Army Veteran.... NO, Not at all!!!! But I took an Oath to Uphold and protect the US Constitution and this country, from eneimies Both FOREIGN and DOMESTIC!!! It is actually the same oath all our elected officials take , when entering office. Hows that workin???? Spent a year 100 yards from North Korea and a potenial war, every day!!!! What you got???? Oh thats right you served in a union... Really I was lucky, never to have served during war time, but would have and if need be, died for the freedoms this country offers! Even your freedoms! So dont compare A and B, when there is no comparison! When is the last time you got shoot at, at work???? Or their was a Communist country knocking on your front door??? Been there, done that!!!!! Then you bring up the draft, come on!!! Everyone of those guys is a hero to me, drafted or not! And I can think of a lot of other things that those that Enlist want from the government, besides getting shot at or blown up by an IED!!!!! They make the ultimate sacrifice, for what a pilot license or truck driving job???? WOW, Really!!!!! Dude, we came from the same neighborhood, grew up differently since we left and now have different views!!!!! I dont care what everyone else thinks of my view points, because they are Mine! And when the Government starts telling us what to think, what we are allowed to say or not say, what rights we are allowed to have or not, whether I can protect my home and family for criminals or not. Thats a problem. Thats what the founding fathers warned us about and why they wrote the Constitution and Bill of RIGHTS!!!! They knew that, Absolute Power corrupts, absolutely!!!!! They fought a REVOLUTION, to seperate this country and its people from exactly that!!! A TYRANNICAL Government!!! Imperial England... The Bill of Rights can be Amended, when they need to change, 27 so far. But there is a legal way to do that! Not just keep writing Executive orders, regardless of the party doing it!!!! Thats just Wrong, either way!!!!! By either party!!!!! But, what is great about this country is... We can agree to disagree... Propbably more disagree, and thats cool.... As wrong as you may be!!!! LOL But thats why Men and Women die every day for us to have the Right to disagree!!!!! So you and your family can sleep soundly tonight. Thats what the Military does, every day and night, 24/7, 365.... So next time you see a Veteran or the family member of someone that died serving their country... Serving you... Not either a Democrat or a Republican, just an American Soldier!!! (I dont think the enemy cares) Just say Thank You An I will look forward to your response, unless you dont read this rant either....
