My heart has been lifted.....my tenacious Nana survived her surgery. I saw her this past weekend (along with my sister and other relatives) and she seems to be doing really well. Miraculously so! The nurses are calling her Rockin Nana! Cute story: As she was being airlifted to EMMC, she turned to the medic and asked, Will my insurance pay for this? Thats my Nana to a T. Strong, straightforward and practical. Im so proud and amazed by her. At 92 years of age, she really is something else. A long and challenging road ahead of her, but feeling SO incredibly hopeful. Thank you all for your wonderful words of comfort and support. They meant so much to me. There are some really special people in my life and I am humbled. XO.
