Just as I predicted. It is a show of fake contrition and a slap on the wrist for him. Most probably there will be no serious court proceedings nor jail time and he will still have his government post as well. I have not heard of a single politician from either party calling for his resignation. Politicians and others with enough celebrity dont get treated by the judicial system or, often times, in the court of public opinion the same as the rest us ordinary mortals usually are.
