Just asking advice, my daughter just moved into a rental property, its been nothing but trouble. There have been a few problems but the biggest main problem is my daughter was electrocuted by the tap in the shower they contacted the real estate the agent sent an electrician out which then rang energex as that the electrical wiring was so damged and now has been deamed unsafe and the property inhabitable. The real estate agent will not supply other accommodation till fixed. They came to an agreement yesterday that if they get there stuff out by monday they will be refunded bond and rent in full, as of today they received an email stating that because it was not put in writing that it no longer stands so now they will not allow them to forfeit the lease, is taking no responsibility on the pain and stress my daughter has suffered as she has had to miss days off work, been electrocuted, cant stay in her place, been spoken to rudely, taken advantage of.. what are there legal rights. Thanks
