Just attended a informational meeting about a potential charter middle school opening up in the Washington Community. This neighborhood has no local junior high. We have hundreds of parents who have their children enrolled in charter schools in our neighborhood (which are public schools) and they enjoy having their children educated at their perspective schools. If their children are learning and feel comfortable at their institution...all the best for them. I would send my children to Washington Elementary School where I went in a heart beat. I am a big proponent of traditional public schools.
