Just back from a very unique one off gig with two great guys and players Ive never performed with before - Troy Luccetta from Tesla (met him a couple times over the years), Vic Johnson (guitarist from Sammy Hagars band and whom Id never met before) Keith St. John sang and set up this performance honoring the late, great, Ronnie Montrose. Neil Schons kid, Myles, sat in and was smoking good as was Mark McGee (from Greg Almans band). We did almost 2 hours of slammin Montrose tunes and few songs that related to Ronnie. Good thing we had a long sound check and were able to run over a lot of the material but it was instantaneous good musical chemistry. We all had a blast as did the crowd. So awesome to play with such seasoned professionals with great attitudes.
