Just back from the anti-racism protest. Race should never have been brought into this. I live in an area where the gang have been operating. I worked in the bar downstairs for years. Ive witnessed 2 handbag snatches in the last year. Ive come across people crying outside because their wallets and phones have been stolen a number of times. I could point out every single member of the gang. They have been preying on drunk people and girls on their own on their way home from the clubs. Ive seen it. Ive helped girls get taxis because 2 or 3 of them have been standing nearby like vultures. The police in this city have known whats been going on long enough. They should have done something about it long before it got this far.
