Just came from an extended visit with Ribbit and Dr. Grisman at the clinic. The good news--Ribbit is eating a little better and has not spiked a fever or shown other signs of infection, though hes not in the clear in the leg wound. The bad news-- the neurological issues are no worse, but no better, either. His neck does not seem painful, but hes unsteady on his front and back legs, is holding his head at a slant, and his legs buckled several times while I was there, though he caught himself and did not fall. Hes on anti-inflammatories and serious antibiotics, administered IV. A neuro issue can take time to heal, if it does heal. Ill be going daily to groom and love on him while hes at the clinic. Hoping for a good outcome.
