Just come back from the court where the trial of the ex policeman who had shot dead two dogs in the Ropa Valley, took or rather didnt take place. The judge decided that because the crime was committed when a much more lenient law applied which has been replaced by the new law, the court had no jurisdiction to try and referred the case to a higher court. Very good result taking into account the fact that the judge mentioned twice that punishment under the new law is at least 1 year imprisonment,
