Just did my weekly job search, and I am now over 50 academic jobs I can apply for that start in fall 2014. I think (?) its a good thing that there are more jobs I can apply for this year than last. Im on pace to break 100 by April which is a mildly exhausting thought. But still, its good to have that many shots on goal. Every job app is a roll of the dice, and the more times you can roll the dice the better. There should be a natural 20 in there sooner or later. (If you dont get that reference, you probably dont want to)
