Just finally getting a second to breathe and say that I thoroughly enjoyed this past weekend at NYCairo. Major props and a huge thank you to Hanna St. John, Jehan Kamal and Mohamed Shahin for putting this together! The workshops with Tito were a dream come true, and Mercedes Nieto was just jaw-dropping. I was very impressed by the caliber of the competitors on Friday night. Its wonderful to see so many amazing dancers representing our art form, it made me proud to do what I do and more importantly it left me inspired. Thank you also to my friends who came to see me and support me :) You guys are amazing, and I love you!
