Just finished a long copy-edit session with the very best pair of eyesI have ever known--my moms. She can catch things trained pros cant see and is quick to tell me when I dont make sense...:)) But most importantly, as I sat here in my writing chair, with her on speaker-phone, going through the pages, I listened to her with such thankful ears--she is nearly homebound now, but her mind is still so sharp! I listened tonight to the sound of her voice, to her machine-gun laughter, and smiled--I still have her...I am blessed beyond any words I could ever write.
